XX Summer University of Gender Studies

Twenty years standing: social feminism and gender feminism is the title of the twentieth edition of the Summer University of Gender Studies, directed and coordinated by researchers from the Gender Studies Research Group (GENERO).
The activity is funded by the Balearic Women's Institute and the Government of the Balearic Islands

Registration will remain open until June 15, 2019.

Day of presentation of the results of the research “Elaboration of proofs of selection of alumnado to access to the initial training of teachers of infantile and primary”

On Friday, May 31, 2019, the results of the research “Elaboration of selection tests for students to access the initial training of kindergarten and primary school” will be presented. This action is the first phase of the project “Innovative practices in the education system and good teaching practices”, Presented in the 2018 call of the IRIE, as a result of the will to promote improvements in the educational system of the Balearic Islands.

The level of self-efficacy and self-pity of teachers and their relationship to inclusive practices

The attitude of teachers influences the success of an inclusive educational practice. Antonio Vigo Aguiló’s doctoral thesis confirms the importance of self-efficacy –belief in one’s own ability to ensure success in a performance– and self-compassion –the absence of prejudices towards one’s own inadequacies and failures– in inclusion school.
