On Friday 1, 8, 15 and 22 February 2019, in the hall of degrees of the Faculty of Philosophy and Letters, will take place the V Seminar Interdisciplinary Training in Human and Social Sciences, organized by the IRIE Culture, Society, Communication and Contemporary Thought Research Group (CSCP).
The Office for Equal Opportunities between Women and Men (OIO) of the UIB organizes this proposal for a meeting of experiences, programs and research with a gender perspective to be carried out by the PDI and students of the UIB , undergraduate and postgraduate, in order to give visibility and strengthen gender studies.
The Conference will take place on 6 and 7 March 2019, in the assembly hall of the Guillem Cifre de Colonya building and is intended for teaching and research staff, students and all those who are interested.
Registration is free and will remain open from February 1.
The International Conference on New Horizons in Education, organized by the Association of Science, Education and Technology (TASET), together with Vienna University of Technology, will be held in Prague, Czech Republic on 3, 4 and 5 July 2019. On Tuesday, January 29, the collection was presented Good Practices in Pedagogical Environments, a collection curated by the Department of Applied Pedagogy and Educational Psychology of the UIB, aimed at identifying, valuing and disseminating good practices in the teaching field.
In the course of the event, which was attended by Dra. Irene Puig, director of the Group for Innovation and Research in the Teaching of Philosophy (IREF), presented the first issue of the collection, focusing on an experience at CEIP Es Pont, in Palma: Why do we do a weekly hour of philosophy?
This January 2019, the Institute for the Evaluation and Quality of the Education System (IAQSE) of the Government of the Balearic Islands has published number 16 of the Evaluation Documents collection, entitled Innovation and educational change. Impact Assessment.
The thirteen-page document, available in digital format, evaluates the concept of educational innovation, understood as a product of everyday practices and not as the simple result of the fashions or formal systems that drive it.
Before focusing on the impact assessment, which motivates the publication, the authors consider points such as the concept of educational innovation, the conditions necessary for it to take place, the factors that hinder it or the role of the Administration in the promotion of this innovation.
