One year, from IRIE, we want to add our voice to the general clam against the sexist violence. The educational world, increasingly mobilized against this serious social problem, plays, and must play even more, a key role in its prevention. We need to be able to educate children with truly coeducational values, values focused on justice, equality between all people, non-discrimination in any of its possible faces. They have to learn that loving is not possessing, not controlling. Whoever loves you will never hurt you. That there are no oranges or blue princes, that love does not move mountains or care.
We want to work against a sexist culture that strikes, offends, insults, humiliates, violates, abuses ... and kills millions of women from all over the world, simply because they are women.
We must be able to create a culture of peace and tolerance, justice and equality. We have to believe that we can build a better world and work tirelessly to achieve this.
We dedicate an emotional memory to Sacramento Roca, murdered by a man who did not want to accept a no, and believed himself entitled to steal his life.
