The present thesis is aimed at studying the group of people over 60 who participate in a university program for seniors, in order to know, on the one hand, how it influences their intellectual and personal development and, on the other hand, in their quality of life.
Relevant data and information were obtained from three important sources involved in the training process, using different methodologies for obtaining this data. One of the conclusions, which can be highlighted at a general level, is that the participation of older people in this type of university training programs, specific to them, encourages active and positive aging, observing benefits both in the maintenance as in improving the perception of quality of life
