The purpose of Olaya Álvarez García's doctoral thesis was to describe the competencies for the environmental sustainability of the curricula of the degree of Primary Education of Spanish universities, and to evaluate the acquisition of these competencies among students. of last year of these studies of two Spanish universities, characterized because they represent two very differentiated levels of curricular environmentalisation. Research has also assessed these competencies among students who begin and finish their studies in this degree at a Spanish University; and, finally, it has analyzed the relationship between various educational and demographic characteristics and the acquisition of these skills.
