Abstract |
Gabriel Barceló Bauzà's doctoral thesis is based on the study of school practice developed by teachers after the end of the Civil War in Spain. The research sought to answer two questions. It has been analyzed whether the school practice of those years changed radically or whether these renovating practices had continuity. Secondly, attention has been paid to the possible influence of school practices on the construction of the school culture that the Franco regime wanted to impose. As main results of the thesis, the researcher indicates that, while in the political field it was wanted to break drastically with all those pillars that sustained the republican educational work, the school practice realized by some teachers of the studied time. shows that there are more continuities than ruptures.
