Professor at University College of London and co-director of the Centre for Sociology of Education and Equity. She has been professor in Sociology at King’s College of London and also director of the Centre for Research in Education in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. She is currently Principal Investigator for several national projects that focus on educational identity and inequality, especially as it relates to gender, ethnicity, and social class.

Social educator and sociologist. Professor of Sociology of Education and former vice-rector for research (2019-22) at the University of Vic-UCC (Barcelona). Visiting professor at the Institute of Education (University College London) and the University of Cambridge. He has carried out research on school-family-community relations, educational policies, the fight against educational inequalities, teacher identity and education as a common good.

He works in the field of cognitive psychology of memory and learning and is currently director of the International Science Teaching Foundation, where he does research to develop teaching resources based on scientific evidence. In addition, he is part of the research group in Learning and Teaching Sciences of the Universidad Autónoma of Madrid. He is the author of the books ¿Cómo aprendemos? Una aproximación científica al aprendizaje y la enseñanza, Conoce tu cerebro para aprender a aprender, Aprendiendo a Aprender and Los secretos de la memoria. He has been an advisor to various institutions around the world and a promoter of improvements for K-12 education.

Miguel Ángel Tirado Ramos: «Pulsa pausa. ¿Para qué innovamos en educación?«
Doctor of Education Sciences, Bachelor of Physical Education and Education Inspector. He has been a professor at ESO, Baccalaureate, Vocational Training, Special Regime Education and University. He is a teacher trainer in programming, evaluation and directive function. He was awarded the third call of the Prizes for Innovative Educational Experiences convened by the Government of the Balearic Islands and is the author of the book: Escuelas que enseñan: El conocimiento sí importa. His last article is entitled: Decodificando el Diseño Universal para el Aprendizaje: ¿Qué evidencia empírica lo respalda?.
