Goal

  • Provide teachers a more complete and deep view of the 3/18 Philosophy project as an educational proposal that aims to help students be more reflective and autonomous, with cognitive and ethical treatment.
  • To deepen the different programs of the project and its theoretical bases in order to improve the practice.
  • Acquire strategies for analysis and intervention to work on thinking skills in the classroom and to promote the acquisition of tolerance and respect attitudes through philosophical dialogue.

Contained

  • The different programs of philosophy 3/18: Materials and activities.
  • Tools and resources to work on thought skills.
  • Philosophical dialogue: built and shared knowledge.
  • The Research Community.
  • Analysis of conversations.
  • Reflective practice as a tool for teaching improvement.
  • The role of the adult in the construction of the student's thinking.
  • Evaluation as an awareness of personal and collective progress.

Activity Methodology: The course is considered a deepening to the 3/18 Philosophy Project, in order to accompany and provide tools to the teaching staff from their application in the classrooms. It has a theoretical, practical and participatory character.
Each session will consist of two parts:
dialogue from theoretical foundation texts where each of the programs and the fundamental axes of the project will be detained: thought skills, research community, philosophical dialogue, the role of the teacher and evaluation.
Exhibition and analysis of classroom experiences of participating teachers: through the reflection on practice, sharing and resolving possible doubts and concerns that will advance the application of the project to the classroom.
