I day of exchange and reflection Teething networks of affections. Theater and literature for social transformation

For five years now, the form of dreams has been a collaborative and teaching innovation project that, through writing, plastic arts, painting and theater, seeks to create bridges of dialogue and creativity between areas such as the Academy, the Third Sector, Health, Education at any stage, etc. We come together people linked to the studies of the Degree in Catalan Language and Literature of the University of the Balearic Islands, the Mental Health Area of ​​the Inca Regional Hospital and the La Nostra Voice Association. So far, we have carried out projects linked to topics such as dreams, home or monsters. We have also sought ways to invent words that express what seems to not fit in dictionaries to use. As a result, we have published three books in a very participatory way and a creative project that promotes inclusion and social transformation. We have also worked with different artistic disciplines, in collaboration with musicians, artists and, above all, theater, which has been revealed to us as an effective tool for work in transformative practices.

From the academic year 2024-25, the form of dreams also collaborates in the transfer of the removal project ("The emotional regime of contemporaneity in 20th century Catalan literature"), an academic project of work on the literary representation and recreation of emotions.

In the encounter Teixir networks of affections: theater and literature for social transformation, we want to create a space to share related experiences to ours, that is, that they use creative strategies to promote emotional well -being from a perspective on the collective, that is, how these strategies can reverse social transformation and, specifically, in the cultural and educational field. 

To this meeting, we will invite people who have carried out experiences of theatrical, artistic and writing and reading work with diverse groups. Some have bonds with the academic or institutional field and others that arise from third sector entities. Researchers from the Remlicat project will also participate.

We want this encounter, above all, a space of dialogue that promotes reflection while presenting practical experiences. That is why we propose three types of interventions: presentations, workshops and conversations. The presentations will last 30 minutes, followed by dialogue. The workshops will be eminently practical and will last one hour.

The sessions will be in Catalan and Spanish.

Professionals, creators and people interested in the field of social creation and transformation. Students, educators, occupational therapists, people linked to health or third sector. Students, teachers and researchers in literary studies and theater.
